Die permanente Weiterentwicklung von Hard- und Software schafft neue Optionen: Am NITRIS und PIRANHA CINEMA werden Schnitt und Compositing in einem Arbeitsgang bearbeitet. Das erleichtert die kreative Gestaltung von Szenen und Bildelementen. Schnitt-Sequenzen können direkt mit Bildeffekten versehen werden. So erhält Ihr Film seine unverwechselbare Tonalität. Compositing is the fusion of real and virtual elements into one coherent overall image. The permanent further development of hardware and software is creating new options: Using NITRIS and PIRANHA CINEMA, editing and compositing are carried out in a single process. Color Grading
DER ANFANG VOM ENDE DER POST
Color Grading ist der letzte Schritt in der Postproduktionskette. Hier sind eine sensible Wahrnehmung, ein Gefühl für filmische Kontinuität und das Gespür für die Anmutung des gesamten Films gefordert. Denn jetzt geht es um die Stimmungen. Am Nucoda Film Master manipuliert der Colorist die Gesamtstimmung und Bilddetails. So fügt sich Bild für Bild zum ausdrucksvollen Ganzen zusammen.
ChromaPost bietet Color Grading im Digital-Kino für den Bereich TV und zur Filmausbelichtung auf 35 mm an. Dazu simuliert das Truelight System die Kino-Projektion und gibt Ihnen die Kontrolle über den finalen, späteren Filmlook im Kinosaal.
Colour grading is the last step in the post-production chain. Here, sensitive perception, a sense of cinematic continuity and a feel for the appearance of the overall film are essential. For it’s now a question of atmosphere. Using the Nucoda Film Master, the colourist manipulates the general atmosphere and image details. So image by image, an impressive whole emerges.
ChromaPost offers colour grading in its digital cinema for the TV area and for development onto 35 mm film. To this end, the Truelight system simulates cinema projection and gives you total control over what the final film will look like in the cinema.

News 3D und F35
NEU: 3D Stereoskopie Realbild Aufnahme / News Sony F35.
Seit Ende Januar 2009 steht allen Kunden ein brandneues 3D Stereo-Spiegelrig, das "SWISSRIG" zur Verfügung! Damit sind stereoskopische HDTV Bewegtbild-Aufnahmen möglich, die synchron mit zwei HD Kameras gemacht werden.
Wahlweise können an dem RIG zwei HD Kameras zusammen montiert werden und stehen bei Chroma zur Verfügung: Sony EX3, F900R, F23, F35 oder RED. Die synchrone Aufnahme des zweikanaligen Stereo Streams erfolgt im Dual Stream Betrieb mit einer SRW1 SR. Auch die 3D Stereo Bildbearbeitung kann bei Chroma an einem PIRANHA CINEMA System gemacht werden.
Unsere F35 glänzte auf der BVK Jahrestagung am 24.01.2009 beim Chroma Stand. Die BVK Kameraleute zeigten größtes Interesse.
Chroma bietet seit Oktober 2008 die Sony F35 an. Anfang November bis Dezember war die Kamera bei ,,Koras Hochzeit'', der aktuellen Produktion von Josefine Filmproduktion, im Einsatz. ''Die enorme Schattendurchzeichnung und Lichtempfindlichkeit sind besonders beeindruckend. Sie werden viel Spielraum für das Color-Grading bei Chroma lassen'', so Kameramann Edschmid.
Die Dreharbeiten liefen unter der Regie von Hermine Huntgeburth und wurden inzwischen erfolgreich beendet. Die gesamte Postproduktion mit Finishing und Color Grading finden bei Chroma bis Februar 2009 statt.
Weiterhin im Einsatz ist auch unsere F23, die nun ideal für die 3D stereoskopische Bildaufnahme eingesetzt werden kann.
Since the end of January 2009, a brand-new 3D stereo mirror rig, the SWISSRIG, has been available for all our customers! It enables stereoscopic HDTV full-video filming to be carried out synchronously with two HD cameras.
You have the option of mounting two HD cameras together on the rig. At Chroma the following are available: Sony EX3, F900R, F23, F35 or RED. Our F35 shone at the BVK’s annual conference on 24.01.2009 at the Chroma stand. The BVK’s camera team showed considerable interest in it.
Chroma has offered the Sony F35 since October 2008. At the beginning of November to December, the camera was used for "Koras Hochzeit", the latest production of Josefine Filmproduktion. "Its high sensitivity to light and extreme shadow details are especially impressive. They will leave plenty of scope for Chroma’s colour grading," said cameraman Edschmid.
Filming took place under the direction of Hermine Huntgeburth and has now been successfully completed. All post-production, including finishing and colour grading is taking place at Chroma until February 2009.
Also in use is our F23, which is ideal for the recording of 3D stereoscopic images.
